The baby sleeping bags are all equipped with a trendy colour or print. Our newest addition is the 4-season sleeping bag, which consists of two parts so you can use it year-round. All our sleeping bags are given a TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) rating, which you can find in the description or on the packaging of the product. Snuggle away!

Which baby sleeping bags are available?

When you are looking for a sleeping bag for your baby, it is important to take temperature into account. This, in fact, should be the main factor in choosing the best-suited sleeping bag for your baby. In the summer, a thin summer sleeping bag is sufficient but in the autumn or spring, it may be too cold. The TOG value is a good guideline. A summer sleeping bag has a TOG value of 0.5 to 1.0. A winter sleeping bag has a TOG value of 3.0. For spring and autumn, a sleeping bag with a TOG value of 2.0 is suitable.

Then there is, of course, the 4-season baby sleeping bag. This choice is perfect if you prefer not to buy three different sleeping bag variants. These baby sleeping bags consist of an outer sleeping bag and a removable inner sleeping bag. The inner sleeping bag is often suitable as a thin summer sleeping bag, the outer sleeping bag for spring and autumn and combined it becomes a winter sleeping bag. On top of that, you also have baby sleeping bags where the sleeves can be zipped off. Depending on the basic TOG value, you can make a sleeping bag suitable for a slightly warmer season.

When can your baby sleep in a sleeping bag?

You can put your baby in a sleeping bag even as a newborn. A sleeping bag is a very safe way to put your baby to sleep. Because a baby sleeping bag has sleeves and closes tightly around the upper body, the sleeping bag cannot turn around or crawl up. A baby sleeping bag also always remains snug, so your baby doesn't get cold.

What size sleeping bag does your baby need?

Jollein baby sleeping bags are available in 3 lengths: 70 cm, 90 cm and 110 cm. To determine the right length for your baby, measure the length of your little one from shoulders to feet. Add 15 cm to this measurement to get the overall sleeping bag length. Choose the sleeping bag that comes closest to this length. When your baby has the sleeping bag on, the top should close well. A closed sleeping bag cannot be taken off over the head and the arms cannot be pushed back through the armhole. This is necessary to ensure that the sleeping bag stays on properly and that there is no risk of choking.

Give your baby sleeping bag a comfortable base with our many fitted sheets and baby blankets at Jollein. Make the cot or bassinet the softest and cosiest spot in your home for your little one!
